Our client is looking for anElectrical Engineer that will be responsible for working with other lead/contributing internal and external team members to create and problem-solve exciting designs that incorporate some of the latest design techniques, while ensuring that all specifications are met, and to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide electrical team leadership and/or support on selected projects.
Complete designs using design software, directing designers, with support from AutoCAD and Revit operators according to project needs.
Provide working knowledge of project design, construction, design software, cost, and scheduling on assigned projects.
Edit master specification to fit project needs.
Provide design fee estimation support for project proposals and change orders.
Qualifications:
Provide working knowledge of Bachelor Degree in Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.
Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) and PE tracked is a plus.
Minimum of five years’ experience with power and lighting systems.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to direct junior level staff and delegate work to design team.
Ability to communicate with client directly and facilitate a professional relationship.
Experience with Revit software is preferred.
