Job Description
The Clinical Area Manager serves as a Behavioral Health Manager and will be responsible for creating an environment of patient-focused care, defining standards for quality patient care, managing and developing field Behavioral Health clinicians, training new staff and providing leadership to our Behavioral Health team.
Qualifications
A doctorate degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology and a current license (or eligible to be licensed) as a Psychologist in the state in which you will be practicing. Board licensed in state(s) of practice. An HSPP is preferred in applicable states.
Responsibilities
Monitoring Behavioral Health clinical documentation compliance
Development and appraisal of staff
Developing and implementing policies and procedures
Facility visits that may entail quality assurance assessment, marketing, productivity, coverage, and service recovery
Coverage of area buildings as needed
Facility staff education and training
Contribute to performance reviews and quality improvement plans
