Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician with experience with low-voltage electronics and assembling mechanical systems. The technician will build enclosures, assemble and mount electronic and mechanical components, run new wires, and test all systems to ensure safe and proper functionality.
Minimum Qualifications:
•High school degree or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational training program preferred.
•2+ years of related work experience in mechanical or manufacturing assembly and subassembly of simple and complex systems
•Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to electrical components, and electronics and mechanical assembly
•Working knowledge of hardware interfaces
•Ability to use hand tools including screwdriver, pliers, wrenches, soldering equipment, cutting devices, etc.
•Ability to use power tools including drills, band saws, forklifts, etc.
•Ability to use measuring tools including tape measurer, voltmeters, ammeters, thermometers and other measurement and testing tools
•Strong attention to detail as well as strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
•Experience working in a cross-functional team
•Basic reading and math skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Experience with Electro-Static Discharge precautions
•Strong ability to document and work independently as well as in a team
•Willingness to learn
Additional experience preferred but not required:
•Experience with 3D Printing
What you will do:
•Use CAD drawings, pictures, verbal directions and written directions to assemble fluid handling systems and measuring systems.
•Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proper assembly and validation tasks
•Build wiring harnesses and components for electro-mechanical systems
•Assemble electronic devices and mechanical structures
•Ensure proper operation of electrical and mechanical components using measurement instrumentation (current, temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.)
•Maintain proper documentation
•Perform incoming inspection to verify conformance and connectivity of electronics and systems
•Performs other duties as assigned by management or needed by team

Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift light packages up to 30 lbs. is required
