Vecna Robotics is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician. The Senior Field Service Technician provides advanced technical support at customer sites and works to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The Senior Field Service Technician is a subject matter expert with profound knowledge of our equipment and systems. The Senior Field Service Technician role is 75-100% travel. While this is a remote role, the Senior Field Service Technician will be expected to travel to customer sites and our Waltham, MA office – often on short notice. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, thrives in fast-paced environments by adapting seamlessly, and exhibits a proactive eagerness to continually learn. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, this is a fulltime, salaried role with benefits based in Dallas-Fort Worth. In this role, the Senior Field Service Technician will: Execute complex service, maintenance, and repair missions at customer sites.
Deliver in-depth on-site training to clients and partners, imparting advanced troubleshooting and maintenance competencies.
Provide on-site assistance for intricate hardware, software, electrical, and networking issues, emphasizing the efficient resolution of intricate technical challenges.
Proficiently utilize an extensive array of mechanical and electrical tools, including voltage meters, oscilloscopes, and assembly equipment, ensuring top-tier safety and reliability.
Undertake the replacement and calibration of components using specialized software and proprietary platforms.
Travel substantially; travel will range from 75% to 100% of the time, with all work-related hotels, meals and travel covered.
What we are looking for: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the field, highlighting deep expertise in Industrial Robotics, Automation, or closely related domains
Exceptional proficiency in working with Linux systems and adeptness in navigating complex technologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak all stakeholders
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of solving intricate problems and critical thinking
Thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure work environment, showcasing adaptability and resilience
Exceptional communication skills across all stakeholder levels
