Associate Director at a Glance….
The Associate Director Marketing and R&D Finance acts as a primary business partner to the North America Chief Growth Officer and North America R&D President, and their respective organizations. This position will serve as a key bridge between finance and our cross-functional partners to drive FP&A activities, influence our Innovation efforts and optimize the Marketing investments that will power growth at KHC for years to come
What’s on the menu?
Strategic business partner to the NA Chief Growth Officer, NA R&D President, and their respective Leadership teams
Lead short and long-range planning for these key NA Zone organizations, influencing strategic choices, identifying / acting on key opportunities and risks
Effectively build and leverage cross-functional network to deliver business objectives
Lead team responsible for all finance activities within Growth Office (marketing) and R&D organizations, a $400M+ budget
Lead development and coaching of team to achieve individual growth plans
Drives insights and strategic vision to help influence how KHC manages and optimizes commercial marketing ($1B/year) and R&D product development ($45M+/year) investments in accordance with our resource allocation models and growth plan
Oversee Media and Omni financial planning processes and governance
Own in-year performance, guaranteeing control of our marketing and R&D expenditures and providing visibility of their performance; including implementation of any analytics enabler
Coordinate innovation efforts ($700M+ in annual sales) across Commercial Business Units, supporting functions and finance teams
Develop capabilities and tools while influencing process improvements to innovation financial tracking
Drive education of broader North America organization on Marketing and R&D finance topics

BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting, FP&A, Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or similar experience required
Experience using Microsoft products (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
SAP suites (e.g., BOI, BI, BEX), Tableau experience preferred
Positive attitude paired with strong problem-solving ability, open to change and evolving responsibilities
Excels in communication skills, strives to build cross-functional relationships with Senior Leadership as well as within peer group
Independent learner and team player that operates with strong bias to action and sense of urgency
