What is the role of the Construction Materials Sales Manager?
The Construction Materials Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, targeting, and executing the full life-cycle sales process for new customers as well as supporting existing customers with the selling of construction materials as it pertains to the heavy civil industry.
What you will get to do:
Oversee the sales and coordination of all FOB Hot Mix Asphalt, crushed concrete, top soil, etc. to customers.
Manage and strengthen current customer accounts and develop new customers within the Charleston, Berkeley, Colleton, and Dorchester market.
Coordinate management of product inventories and cost control through partnerships with the Plant Division.
Review pricing and market conditions monthly.
Owning responsibility for monthly and quarterly forecasting reports of new business targets and performance of existing accounts, managing sales quotas and expectations.
Research upcoming construction opportunities within the Charleston, Dorchester, Berkley, and Colleton area daily.
Be the subject matter expert on our customers, construction materials, current and future market conditions.
