Goal of Sales Development Team Lead – North America, Commercial East
The Sales Development Team Lead is responsible for guiding, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Development Reps (SDR) for success in a Cloud/SaaS environment. The SDR team uses a variety of inbound and outbound sales tactics to build a solid pipeline of Sales Qualified Leads, foster engagement and accelerate the selling/buying journey of new prospects.
The Sales Development Team Lead is responsible for meeting the assigned targets and KPI metrics within the commercial sector and maintaining a close partnership with the Sales and Marketing organizations to build a consistent, predictable, and scalable pipeline for revenue growth.
Core elements of the Sales Development Team Lead role:
Coach, mentor and manage a team of SDRs on selling tactics to identify, qualify and cultivate sales opportunities through a blend of outbound and inbound techniques utilizing email, multi-threading, research, lead generation and qualification activities. Achieve aggressive quarterly targets. Work closely with Marketing and Sales to focus on a targeted approach to provide qualified meetings and sales opportunities to achieve a high win conversion success rate for partner programs.
Work closely with the Regional Sales & Marketing managers to develop an account plan strategy.
Analyze data to provide feedback to Marketing managers about campaigns.
Collaborate with other Sales Development managers on initiatives and suggesting new strategies for the broader SDR function.
Build knowledge on all the industry leading prospecting tools we use and how to best use them to assist your team’s success.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
Experience in leading or coaching a team in a sales-orientated environment with a proven history of achieving/delivering results in the skills required.
5 years' experience in outbound prospecting or inside sales experience preferably within IT / Cloud solutions
Proven experience in change management
Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms
Excellent tenacity and resilience
Effective time management, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to develop compelling strategies that deliver results with a strong attention to detail
Able to swiftly learn product solutions as well as general industry knowledge
Driven to stay current with industry, competition, and technology through knowledge sharing industry forums and corporate training initiatives
Experience in demonstrating calmness, flexibility, and adaptability toward changing circumstances in the SDR and sales process. When faced with challenges, a source of confidence with a positive and forward-thinking approach.
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$70,950.00 - $139,150.00
