As Director, Investor Relations with Adtalem Global Education, you will work with the Vice President of Treasury & Investor Relations to plan and execute a comprehensive, proactive investor relations program. This critical role will be responsible for explaining financial results, communicating corporate strategy and articulating the company’s competitive advantages and risks to institutional and individual shareholders. In this role, you will interface with internal subject matter experts across the company including; finance, legal, treasury, our two operating segments, media relations, internal communications, and marketing.

Responsibilities Work with Vice President, Treasury & Investor Relations to plan and announce quarterly financial results via press release, webcasts, scripts for CEO and CFO, slides, and FAQ’s.

Lead the creation and drafting of investor-facing materials including: earnings call scripts, investor presentations and other investor-facing documents.

Collaborate with Media Relations, Internal Communications and Marketing teams in coordinating messages to shareholders.

Communicate with existing and potential shareholders, including equity analysts, portfolio managers, individual shareholders, stockbrokers and others while adhering to US Securities laws and company disclosure policies.

Develop and refresh presentations for senior management for the financial community.

Conduct financial analysis, modeling and valuation comparisons for Adtalem and peer companies.

Track consensus estimates for revenue, earnings, cashflow and price targets.

Develop investor targets; plan and track shareholder outreach activities.

Plan and manage investor events such as non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, investor days, etc.

Monitor, distill and report on analyst research, banking and retail news as well as changes in equity ownership, block trading and short interest to the executives of the company.

Report key market and competitor information (earnings, new product announcements, partnerships, changes in leadership) to Adtalem senior management on a regular basis.

Compose monthly ownership reports for the Board of Directors.

Contribute to the development of Adtalem’s Annual Report and Annual Meeting of Shareholders including the CEO’s presentation.

Utilize external vendors (IHS Markit, Clermont Partners, Q4, Rivel Research, etc.) to coordinate quarterly conference call/webcasts, enhance understanding of Adtalem trading patterns, document changing investor perceptions, and develop new company messaging.

Manage incoming questions from the investor relations mailbox and 1-800 phone number. Coordinate updates to the Adtalem IR Website through Q4 (or like supplier).

Initiate and manage investor/shareholder feedback as needed.

Continually monitor trends in the investor relations field and periodically benchmark the IR program with peer companies to assess IR effectiveness.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position required.

Strong communications, writing and organizational skills.

Strong financial acumen including ability to conduct/review financial analysis, valuation analytics, and financial modeling for a global company.

Interest in education, healthcare and financial services trends, regulation and market factors.

Ability to multi-task and cope with constantly evolving demands.

Experience in managing projects and meeting deadlines.

Experience in equity research, the capital markets or investment community is preferred.
