About Us:
Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water.
Our Opportunity:
Due to growth, we are seeking expressions of interest from Project Managers who seek meaningful work in the water and wastewater industry.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of various projects from concept to handover in a safe, timely and cost effective manner; with a quality focus and adherence to company policy, customer expectations and project specifications.
More specifically you will:
Deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner and complete all appropriate documentation
Deliver high quality work profitably in a timely manner
Develop and manage all stakeholder relationships with regular and effective communication
Work with the Design Manager to ensure that designs are completed in accordance with Project Requirements and the Construction Program
Procure equipment and subcontract resources at competitive prices to meet project requirements
Effectively manage labour and subcontract resources
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects, more specifically water and wastewater treatment
A relevant qualification such as a degree or diploma in project management
An ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
