What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated VDC and Technology Lead at MCN Build, that will play a crucial role in advancing our construction projects by leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other cutting-edge technologies. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and integration of BIM and related technologies throughout all phases of our projects. This role will require a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for innovation.
What You’ll Do:
As our new VDC and Technology Lead you will lead the implementation of BIM processes and technologies across all projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the company's goals, identifying and evaluating emerging technologies for potential adoption, provide guidance, train, and support to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions, foster collaboration between various stakeholders, including design, engineering, and construction teams, to ensure seamless information flow and efficient project deliver, establish quality control processes to verify the accuracy and integrity of BIM data, models, and digital documentation, evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring that software and hardware solutions meet the company's needs, develop training programs to educate employees on BIM tools and technologies, keeping the team up-to-date with industry best practices, oversee the management and organization of BIM data and project documentation, ensuring accessibility and security, stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies including Virtual Reality, Drones, LIDAR, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and quality.
What You Bring to The Table:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience in BIM implementation and technology management within the construction industry.
Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD), CAD tools, and project management software.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to technology challenges.
What We Offer
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience
