This role focuses on promoting and increasing the sale of assigned products and services to meet territory sales objectives while maximizing the company’s investment. The successful candidate will manage their territory with a commitment to customer satisfaction and company profitability, using their strong communication skills to build relationships with existing and new clients.
Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities
Promote and increase the sale of assigned products and services, meeting territory sales objectives and maximizing company investment.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Inform customers of all product and repair options, offering financial assistance that meets specific needs.
Support the sale of commodities highlighted by management as critical to branch objectives.
Develop and use written monthly territory plans to prioritize opportunities for preserving and/or increasing market share.
Collaborate with the Machine Sales Representative to develop customer and market strategies by account and territory to increase sales.
Submit written action plans and objectives to sales management, detailing customer strategies, action plans, and responsibilities.
Prepare and execute customer presentations as necessary.
Provide complete territory coverage using personal calls and all available marketing tools, including participation in telemarketing teams.
Serve as the communication link between the customer and the branch for technical information, training, and dispute resolution.
Qualifications
Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, preferably within the material handling or industrial sectors.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to develop strategic territory and customer plans.
Knowledge of product and repair options, and the ability to inform customers of their choices effectively.
Experience in preparing and executing customer presentations.
Commitment to achieving customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
