We are seeking to add a highly motivated structural engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience. The position will entail the design and production of structural systems in residential, commercial, mixed-use and multi-family.
Responsibilities
Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and design analysis
Perform construction administration-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors on the design and construction of projects
Qualifications
4+ years’ experience in the structural engineering field.
Must have PE License in Washington State
Working knowledge of design & modeling software such as RISA, Revit & AutoCAD.
BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
Knowledge of national building and construction codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NDS, etc.)
Knowledge and experience of structural engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
Knowledge of multiple types of construction is a plus.
Field experience is a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills.
