BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field rom an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Academic or professional experience using Java, C, C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration
Responsibilities In this important role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals
You will join a multi-disciplinary team and:
Design, modify, develop, write, and implement and integrate software programming applications using agile methods
Write source code for new applications, and/or generate and enhance code for existing applications
Perform code reviews, optimize algorithms, and model and conduct experiments to ensure the functionality and performance of products or solutions
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $85,900 - $164,600

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year
This position is incentive plan eligible
