Summary Description: This position will engage with the Information Technology department, specifically with Enterprise Information Solutions team, to support a variety of areas such as data analysis, data discovery, and ad-hoc queries. Assists with proof of concepts (POC) in Predictive Analytics, SQL, and Predictive Modeling. Gathers and researches data and supports requirements gathering, technology adoption, and training material. Partners with Business Insight and Restaurant Production teams to provide additional assistance and support in various segment activities.
Responsibilities:
Prepares correspondences and communication including word-processing, spreadsheet preparation, and report generation for internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
Reviews all papers, documents, and calculations to ensure the accuracy and/or consistency of information flowing through the department.
Keeps informed and up to date on Company policies and practices relating to IT functions and provides input into department work plans ensuring quality results are achieved.
Assists in management and execution of the Mobile Program Customer Experience (CXE) project.
Shadows CXE Project team members and becomes familiar with project team functions.
Partners with the Program Management Team (PMO) team to assist in developing, supporting, and promoting the customer experience efforts.
Supports and gains exposure to social media planning and execution.
Assists in competitive research collection related to customer feedback analysis and customer satisfaction metrics to provide a cause-and-effect framework
Participates in and contributes to supporting the planning, development, and execution of department projects. .
Assists in the archive process for historical videos and media.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or
Currently enrolled in College and have completed a minimum of 80 hours
Experience: 0 - 3 months experience
Knowledge, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency in data entry and MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Proficiency in JD Edwards preferred
Elementary knowledge of practices and procedures in a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities
Elementary understanding of departmental structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC
Working Conditions/Travel Requirements: Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
