This position is hourly overtime eligible in addition to the base pay.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing the accounts payable for the company. In addition, they prepare regular reports (usually monthly), based on organizational objectives.
Responsibilities include;
Fulfill Full Cycle A/P
Process Accounts Payable invoices
Process monthly lease payments
Process weekly and daily check runs
Scanning and Filing
Answering Emails from Vendors
Submitting accruals for month end to accounting manger
Assisting with monthly reports and month end closing
Research and resolve invoices discrepancies and issues
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Min of one year of experience in Accounts Payable required
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as; Outlook, Excel, and Word required
Ability to learn internal and external real estate related applications required
Prior experience using accounting software systems preferred
Experience in creating, printing, and managing year end IRS Form MISC 1099’s preferred
