Job Summary:
The Finance Department is currently seeking a Financial Analyst (Contractor) with strong testing, data analytics, and accounting close and consolidation skills to join our Finance team on the north side of Indianapolis. This individual will complete a variety of testing tasks related to our conversion to Workday including data conversion testing for 68 legal entities and 24 consolidations as well as participating in unit, end to end and user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate is highly technically proficient, detail oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a dynamic work environment while demonstrating a flexible and adaptable work style that responds efficiently under tight deadlines.
Main Accountabilities: Responsible for the data conversion testing of multiple legal entities.
Maintaining accurate, auditable documentation of testing.
Participating in the testing and creation of training documentation
Assisting with End to End, Unit Testing, and UAT as defined throughout the implementation.
Participating in ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related major
Experience with ERP conversion a plus
Experience with Oracle or Workday Financials a plus
5+ years of accounting close and consolidation experience
Advanced working knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Superior organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and can multitask
Internally driven and self-motivated
Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills
A mature professional with excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
