POSITION SUMMARY:
Keeps company vehicles and carpet cleaning equipment mechanically sound and in effective, safe operating condition.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functional
Maintains all company vehicles and ensures they are in good running condition.
Maintains all on-location equipment in good running condition.
Maintains all plant equipment in good running condition.
Performs routine upkeep on vehicles.
Troubleshoots mechanical problems; has ability to identify and repair them.
Assists on-road staff when break-downs occur.
Other
Follows all applicable legislation and policies for safe operation of vehicle and equipment.
Meets corporate standards for attendance and timeliness.
Maintains effective working relationships and acts in a manner most beneficial to the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School completion or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of vehicle maintenance and mechanical maintenance experience, including gasoline and propane power systems.
Experience with Chevy, Dodge and Ford vehicles beneficial
