What You’ll Do: With all the numbers and forecasts and spreadsheets flying around the accounting department every day, we need someone to manage all day-to-day activities. As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be responsible for educating associates on corporate policy, reviewing the work of accounting associates, and much more.
Here’s a more in-depth look at what you’ll be doing on a daily basis:
Communicate and train properties on Accounting Procedures.
Verify the accuracy of night audit work through Excel spreadsheets and web-based applications.
Assist properties in the reconciliation and billing of city ledger accounts.
Trace all credit card /cash deposits from PMS system to each bank account on a daily basis. Research any missing deposits or shortages.
Where You’ve Been:
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in Accounting or a similar field. You also at least 5 years’ supervisory experience in accounting/finance. Previous experience in hotels is preferred. Finally, you have excellent communication skills and are able to positively and professionally communicate directives and guidance to your department.
