Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a talented and dynamic product marketing leader to help drive the business, support internal GTM teams, and serve as the market expert for the Operational Technology (OT) sector.

Tenable is the Exposure Management company. More than 40,000 organizations around the world rely on us to help them understand and reduce cybersecurity risk. Our goal is to arm every organization, no matter how large or small, with the visibility and insight to answer four critical questions at all times: Where are we exposed? Where should we prioritize based on risk? Are we reducing our exposure over time? How do we compare to our peers?

In this role, you will lead a team of product marketers to create and execute the marketing strategy for our Operational Technology solutions. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will interface and regularly collaborate with a variety of teams within Tenable and play a key role in successfully executing product launches, enablement programs and demand generation campaigns for OT products. You will leverage analytics, establish benchmarks, and gain feedback to identify program success and/or opportunities for improvement. Ultimately, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving Tenable’s success in the Operational Technology security market.

Your Opportunity:

Define value drivers tied to our customers’ business outcomes that are meaningful, relevant, and actionable

Perform market research and analysis using primary (customer, partner) and secondary (analyst, sales) sources; use this to inform product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies

Develop buyer personas, solution messaging, and content strategy for the OT security market

Create clear and compelling content for sales collateral, solution briefs, blog posts, website, webcasts, trade shows, and related activities to drive market demand and awareness

Identify key technology partnership / co-marketing opportunities and new routes to market

Lead cross-functional efforts to research, plan and implement go-to-market tactics that drive demand, customer adoption & success, and revenue

Lead new product and solution launches

Take ownership of the results by measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and launch activities with data-driven insights and performance tracking

Actively participate in analyst relations and public relations initiatives

Participate in webcasts, events and other demand generation activities

Guide and contribute to sales and partner enablement

Serve as a voice of the sales team to the product development organization

Recruit, onboard and train new hires

Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the team

Create an inclusive, supportive environment where all team members can do their best work

Partner with manager (VP) on budget requests and spending for needs of strategy and/or team development.

Provide input on yearly budget for planned strategy as well as for team (T&E, etc.)

Must have ability to travel in the US up to 20% of time

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

10+ years of high tech product marketing or similar experience; 7+ years’ experience as a direct people manager

Marketing experience within SaaS and security technology, as well as a working knowledge of cybersecurity trends. Experience in operational technology is a plus

Proven background in owning customer research, market analysis, and segmentation

Strong written and oral communication and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for a variety of audiences

Collaborative and team-oriented, with an ability to build strong working relationships across levels, departments, and geographically dispersed office locations

Ability to blend strategic thinking with creative execution

Excellent organizational skills and strong follow-through

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where change is the norm and the bar for quality is set high

Proven ability to balance multiple projects at the same time

And Ideally:

Master’s degree

Knowledge of the OT Security landscape

The base salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $213,333.33 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
