Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responds to and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repair work in-house or on the road, including but not limited to diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and/or making adjustments
• Service, maintain, repair HSM balers as well as conduct safety inspections in accordance with OSHA standards
• Installs balers at end user’s facilities and ensures proper operation
• Independent assembly of components and equipment according to drawings, manuals or instructions
• Communicates and interacts well with customers and service technicians to ensure positive customer experience at all times
• Maintains a clean workplace, proper maintenance of tools and machinery
• Completes all paperwork in a timely manner (work reports, time sheets, etc.)
• Ability to travel (up to 75%, primarily East Coast)
• Conducts training sessions for operation and installation of balers and/or combinations
• Performs other related duties as required
Education and Experience:
• Associate's degree or equivalent
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team
• Mechanical knowledge required, electrical and hydraulics knowledge desired
• 2 or more years of experience in equipment service operations, preferably in customer-facing setting
• Basic knowledge of PC application.
• Clean driving record
