Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the sales process and the ability to prospect, develop relationships & opportunities and close sales. She or he will need to be well-organized, highly self-motivated & curious, possess exceptional time management skills and must be able to handle multiple demands, all while continuing to establish and maintain productive relationships.
Responsibilities
* Solicit and understand customer requirements for instrumentation, timing, RF communications and data acquisition applications
* Present technical solutions which meet or exceed specifications
* Maximize order activity in territory
* Collaborate with Customers and Manufacturers to provide high-quality solutions
* Grow existing accounts by building relationships with existing clients
* Prospect via referrals, leads and networking
* Respond in a timely manner to customer and manufacturer requests
* Maintain a high-quality company CRM and report activity as required
* Attend appropriate events (manufacturer training, sales meetings, conferences, trade shows, trade Industry meetings, etc.)
* Minimal travel for territory coverage and attendance at company principal and industry events
Candidate Qualifications
* 2+ years technical sales experience (or equivalent)
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong Technical Background
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Security clearance (or the ability to obtain security clearance) required.
