Job Description Job Description Platt Richmond is seeking a Senior Business Transactions Attorney with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private placements of securities, entity formation, investment funds and corporate governance to join our dynamic legal team in Dallas or Houston. This position will have direct client interaction and organizational involvement is highly encouraged. We are looking for at least 6 years’ experience with this type of practice.

Duties and responsibilities:
Ability to manage business, transactional and corporate matters and assist in all facets of the corporate section
Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
Oversee and conduct legal due diligence
Provide guidance and mentor corporate associates and paralegals
Work independently and be able to delegate tasks to associates and paralegals
Experience with wide range of corporate transactions and a thorough understanding of all aspects of corporate law
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Genuine, authentic personality
Confidence
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
J.D. and Texas Bar Admittance
