Position Overview:

The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in leading the financial management and strategy of Ouro. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and a track record of driving growth and profitability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Vice President of Finance will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's long-term objectives and ensure financial health and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement strategic financial plans and initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with senior leadership to establish financial goals, objectives, and performance metrics aligned with the company's overall strategic direction.

Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and resource allocation.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to provide insights into business performance and trends.

Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identify areas of improvement, and recommend actions to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.

Present financial results and insights to senior leadership and the board of directors, providing strategic guidance and recommendations for decision-making.

Treasury and Cash Management:

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure adequate funding for business operations and strategic initiatives.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash management, including cash forecasting, investment management, and risk mitigation.

Financial Operations and Compliance:

Oversee financial operations, including accounting, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Establish and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Strategic Financial Partnerships:

Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other external stakeholders to support the company's financial objectives and growth initiatives.

Evaluate and negotiate financing agreements, debt facilities, and capital raising opportunities to optimize the company's capital structure and funding sources.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance organization, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the financial technology industry or related sectors.

Proven track record of driving financial strategy, planning, and performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a diverse team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Experience working with financial technology platforms, systems, and tools is a plus
