Join a world class team of solution architects designing complex systems to meet mission needs and solve demanding problems. This position will focus on the solution design for command and control systems related to space craft and in orbit assets. Primary job duties will be to support business development and sales activities interfacing with potential customers to understand technical requirements, determining available solutions, and providing technical leadership as a solutions architecture.
Explain how a C2 satellite operations system works (be able to draw functions w/ work-flow)
Understand data, control, and status interfaces between C2 elements
Review customer requirements and identify gaps vs. current in-house products/capabilities
Real-time, ground-based command & control (C2) of LEO, MEO, GEO, HEO satellites
Experience with C2 of small and large constellations of commercial and federal satellites
Experience with cloud-based C2 (CBC2) using micro-service applications
Cloud computing, data analytics, network communication, and hybrid cloud architectures
Decompose applications into microservices
Determine effort to modify applications for cloud deployment)
Experience with DevSecOps
Compute network and storage requirements for cloud deployments
Knowledge of TT&C and flight dynamics
Power Point, Visio, Word, Excel, architectural diagraming
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience Experience estimating engineering effort required to fill gaps based on technical gap analysis
Understanding of business development, capture management, & development/delivery functions
Experience with digital engineering such as Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Experience with agile software development process
Satellite mission planning and scheduling

Salary Range: $165,000-$195,000 annually
