Capital Management Director
Location: Indianapolis, IN preferred but open to any Pulse Point location.
Must be within a 50-mile radius of a Pulse Point location.
This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days in office per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time on site will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
The Capital Management Director is responsible for enacting new capital markets opportunities related to debt, equity and hybrids, FX and interest rate hedging as part of the company's capital plan. Evaluates capital market deal structures and executes transactions.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Represents the department in meetings with bankers, rating agencies and auditors and negotiates capital markets transactions.
Key part of the overall management of the banking group and rating agencies relationships.
Directs FX and interest rate exposure by implementing strategies, negotiating execution charges, and executing trades.
Handles accounting and reports for debt related, FX and interest rate swap related transactions.
Maintains hedge accounting for FX and interest rate swaps.
Manages forecasts for interest expense and shares outstanding.
Ensures compliance with new rules and regulations for FX and interest rate hedging and other capital market securities.
Prepares reports for SEC filings and presentations for Board of Directors.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires BA/BS in Accounting, Economics or Finance and a minimum of 10 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
MBA, CPA, CTP and/or CFA preferred.
5 years in banking or treasury preferred.
