Salary: $160-200K + bonus
This late-stage venture capital firm provides funding to startup companies and small businesses that have high-growth potential. The firm focuses on technology, healthcare, artificial intelligence, consumer goods, internet, software/SaaS, application devices and other growing industries. The role will oversee the investment fund's operations, including sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, managing the existing portfolio of investments, and raising capital from limited partners.
Requirements:
Minimum 6-12 years of experience working in finance, investment banking, asset management, or a related field.
Prefer a combination of Big 4 accounting firm and direct experience at a hedge fund, private equity / real assets fund, or fund-of-funds
Prior experience in roles such as financial analyst, portfolio manager, or investment banker can provide valuable skills and insights necessary for managing investment funds.
Specific experience with partnership / fund accounting and tax issues
Must be detail-oriented
A team player with a "can do" attitude who is enthusiastic about working in a high-energy, fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision
Must have excellent communication and time management skills
