JOB SUMMARY:
The Product Designer for Higher Logic's suite of products engages in a design process that leads to successful outcomes for our customers. User interface standards and conventions are used to design modern, engaging experiences for our users. The Product Designer empathizes with the user and employs a design thinking process to consider each step of the user's interaction and communicates designs to non-design audiences including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Design wireframes, high-fidelity user interfaces, and functional prototypes to support major features and critical functionality for Higher Logic products.
Work closely with our product managers and engineers to produce modern designs that exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate with other designers on the team to envision and iterate on high-level concepts and maintain Higher Logic's design system.
Participate in user research utilizing qualitative research methods.
Assist in product discovery including customer interviews, analytics, and prototype testing.
Conduct all business in accordance with Higher Logic policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to understand high level product strategy and vision.
Working knowledge of UI design and prototyping tools
Excellent communication skills - able to clearly articulate design decisions to non-design audiences.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

You empathize with the user and employ a design thinking process to consider each step of their interaction and communicate designs to non-design audiences including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead design projects that support major features and critical functionality.
Design wireframes, high-fidelity user interfaces, and functional prototypes.
Work closely with our product managers and engineers to produce modern designs that exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate with other designers on the team to envision and iterate on high-level concepts and maintain Higher Logic's design system.
Participate in user research utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Participate in product discovery including customer interviews, analytics, and prototype testing.
Knowledge and Abilities Required:
Advanced knowledge of best practices for design implementation and design system management
Ability to understand high level product strategy and vision.
Expertise with UI design and prototyping tools
Excellent communication skills - you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions to non-design audiences.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks
Experience desired:
6+ years of SaaS product design experience.
An expert-level design background with demonstrated examples of your work.
