The laboratory research technician will support researchers studying vessel growth, development, and malformation in mice and in microphysiological organ-on-a-chip systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong organizational and management skills • Standard laboratory techniques • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and PowerPoint software
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• College level coursework in biology, chemistry, or a related field. • Experience with cell culture. • Experience with animal husbandry. • Experience with molecular biology and other standard laboratory techniques. Answers to hiring freeze questions attached as a document.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 23.
