Science is looking for a Global Head of Facilities to ensure ourfacilities are continuously supporting research, development, andproduction worldwide. A successful Global Head of Facilities willengage in capacity planning, design and optimize facility layout andcritical operational systems, and oversee the maintenance ofinfrastructure and equipment.
Role responsibilities:
Responsible for planning and managing our 170k+ sq ft footprintworldwide
Ensuring all facilities’ reliability and performance
Performing analysis of operational processes, resource allocation,energy use, and implement improvements
Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion,layout, various systems, and quality controls
Tenant improvement planning and management
Assess facility resource requirements
Previous experience as a Facilities Director
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
Strong facilities technical background to enable decision makingwhen working with cross-functional teams
Eagerness to be hands on, working with the tools, equipment, and thefacilities to solve problems where possible
Preferred qualifications:
Background in STEM
Science is required under California law to include a reasonableestimate of the compensation range for this role. We determineyour level based on your interview performance and make an offer basedon the indicated salary band. The base salary range for this full-timeposition is $170,000-$215,000 annually + equity + benefits. Within therange, individual pay is determined by several factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Please keep in mind that the equity portion of the offer is notincluded in these numbers.
