The Director of US Retail Stores is responsible for the leadership, growth, and management of all operational and performance aspects of our retail channel. As a member of the Direct to Consumer leadership team, success in this role requires an experienced, data-driven leader who will determine our go-forward retail stores vision and strategy and drive the retail P&L by implementing a profitable growth plan. We are looking for an inspirational and empathetic leader capable of driving cohesion and empowerment amongst our broader retail team toward a common business goal and brand purpose within the communities we serve. The ideal candidate is excited about our opportunity to define the future of retail for the brand and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience in an omnichannel environment. **RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Lead the US Retail Stores vision, strategy, and execution plan to generate profitable growth in collaboration with our CEO and SVP GM of Direct to Consumer

* Ensure flawless execution across our stores to deliver the retail plan

* Manage the overall P&L for the retail channel and deliver on revenue and profit targets, leveraging data insights and a thorough understanding of our products, customers, markets, and competitors

* Engage with Sales and Operations Planning to forecast accurate retail growth and align expectations on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

* Evaluate current store performance and determine opportunities for improvement

* Lead US Retail Stores expansion, opening each store on-time, on-budget, and on-brand

* Maintain the success of the existing retail network as we expand our footprint

* Support the rollout and continuous improvement of personalized clienteling, driving a world-class omnichannel customer experience

* Drive comp store growth YOY, increasing customer lifetime value

* Optimize the performance of people and processes to deliver the best possible customer experience and that reflects our brand and company values

* Partner with our Merchant and Brand team to make the right distribution and inventory decisions for retail to drive store productivity in line with channel objectives

* Partner with Marketing to develop localized investment plans to drive qualified traffic in the store

* Partner with Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility to craft and execute cause marketing program(s) at the local level that is intended to build hometown hero-ship for the brand and awareness of local stores

* Partner on developing our wholesale expansion strategy and growing our business with existing wholesale partners

* Collaborate with other Direct to Consumer leaders across the business to ensure seamless multi-channel integration and a superior omni shopping experience

* Benchmark our business and monitor competitors and industry trends as it relates to the shopping experience, product innovation, and local activation to drive relevant pre-emptive and responsive actions

**TEAM LEADERSHIP:**

* Manage and build a diverse and engaged team of store leads and their staffs

* Build a bench of future leaders with coaching, career-pathing and succession planning

* Lead by example, building a culture of high performance and accountability, grounded in T&Ns purpose, and corporate and commercial values

* Evolve organization structure, as needed, as we expand our footprint across the country

* Take an active role in the teams professional development by regularly providing clear and direct feedback that reinforces strengths and creates new learning opportunities

* Ensure timely participation in the annual review process

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* 15+ years at the executive level with most recent experience as divisional head of a multi-channel retail business; preference for home goods; high-growth business experience

* 10+ years managing a P&L

* BA/BS degree; MBA is a plus

* Subject matter expert in retail with a deep understanding of industry best practices and relevant business models

* Proven ability to develop compelling, insight-based strategic business proposals and present them effectively and persuasively to senior management

* Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on attitude who treats our business like their own and has a proven ability to get the job done, maximizing top and bottom-line impacts

* Excellent reputation for integrity and judgment and professional presence to be a trusted company representative externally

* Team player who can inspire and coach a large team in different locations, and build strong relationships across functions

* Proactively leverages data to develop meaningful insights and has a bias for progress in actioning against them

* Anticipates future team, customer, and business needs and is proactive in coming up with ideas to address them

* Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment

* Faces challenges with optimism and has a proven track record of achieving results

* Some travel is required to out Phoenix, AZ headquarters and to our stores located in the US
