Overview:

Your role as the Sales Manager is to drive top-line sales while supervising and directing our sales staff. This position plays a vital role in shaping our company culture and providing a unique retail experience. No jewelry experience? No problem! We will provide you with the training you need to be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our merchandise, represent our brand, and create an exceptional store experience for each customer.

We are looking for passionate leaders who can motivate their teams, take initiative, and work well with and through others. Successful candidates for this role will be able to respond to their teams needs in a fast-paced environment while championing company culture and demonstrating personal character. The Sales Manager acts as a member of the store leadership team under our Store Manager and has influence on and responsibility for all aspects of sales, customer, and employee experience.

The typical starting pay for this role is $69,000 per year , plus opportunities for monthly bonuses and SPIFs. There is no upper limit to what you can earn in this role as you expand your jewelry knowledge and sales expertise.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership

Lead by example by showcasing your skills on the sales floor, driving sales and providing excellent experiences to our guests

Act as a Floor Director by supporting and collaboratively coaching the sales staff as they engage with our customers

Managerial Duties

Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings of the store management team as requested, as well as meetings with the sales team.

Perform opening and closing duties related to the store

Collaboration

Work effectively and seamlessly with the store management team and Home Office employees, focusing on teamwork, growth potential, and communication

Develop a basic understanding of all functionalities within the shop and customer service departments

Ensure a positive and engaging workplace for all by embodying company values such as integrity, continuous improvement, and teamwork

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing, leading, developing, training, or supervising others with retail or hospitality experience preferred- jewelry experience is not mandatory we'll provide comprehensive training and ongoing learning opportunities!

Knowledge of selling techniques and practices with prior experience in a face-to-face environment.

Availability during evenings and weekends is a must, with the perk of being closed on 7 major holidays.

High level of visual acuity and manual dexterity.

Excellence in written and spoken English; effective communication is key.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
