Job Description: The position includes both remote and on-site work. This position requires interaction with clients. Candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills. No two projects are ever exactly the same so the candidate must be comfortable working with new products and new problem spaces. This position requires a strong foundation with:
Office 365/Entra ID.
Microsoft Intune.
Tenant Migrations.
Server Migrations.
Conditional Access principles
SonicWall firewall products.
Security best practices.
Active Directory Domain Services.
Dell PowerEdge hardware.
Azure Compute and related infrastructure.
Duties:
- Work with teammates to complete assigned tasks related to project work.
-Perform on-call work as part of the rotation of technical staff to handle high priority outages, security incidents and VIP clients.
-Maintain timesheet each day which allows for correct billing for our clients.
-Document work done for projects in our documentation system.
-Work with clients to explain project work, develop time lines for project completion, and provide technical support for project-related issues.
-Work with Director to establish and meet all deadlines for assigned projects.
-Participate in Daily Stand up meetings to review project tasks.
-Complete after-hours project-work when required. (We avoid this wherever possible)
-Assist with Discovery and Onboarding for new clients.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Router, Switches, Servers and Desktops configuration and deployment
- Windows Server (2012,2016,2019,2022) / Active Directory
-Windows Client (7 through 11)
- Client / Server Networking
- Office 365 / Google Workspace
- ConnectWise Automate / PSA
- Datto, Veeam Backup, Intronis, Synology NAS equipment or similar.
- SonicWall, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet
- Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki
- Sentinel One, Avanan, Blumira
- Experience using ITGlue or similar documentation platform.
Qualifications:
- 7 years minimum experience as a System/Network Administrator or related role.
- Microsoft Certifications (preferred)
- Highly self-motivated individual
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and delivering results on time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think strategically with technical vision
- Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality
- Exceptional customer service skills, and a positive "can-do" attitude
- Must be accessible by phone or email outside normal business hours during on-call rotation.
