CLASS DESCRIPTION
A Registered Nurse - School Health (10 Months) cares for patients in schools clinics, homes, and other community settings under the direction of a nursing supervisor or other health professional. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities .
Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in schools, clinics, homes or other community settings where incumbents may encounter illness, disease or stressful situations.
SELECTION PROCESS

The training and experience of each candidate will be evaluated for appropriateness and quantity. It is essential, therefore, that you give complete and accurate information on your application. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must:
EDUCATION: Have an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college
AND
EXPERIENCE: Have two years of experience in a clinical setting, pediatric experience preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EXAMINATION PROCESS
