Position Summary Zappix is looking for an ambitious and energetic Pre-Sales Engineer to
support the sales team – running demos, helping in technical focused
conversations, and translating the customers’ business needs into technical
specifications. Act as the prime contact on technical conversations when
selling to stakeholders ranging from C-Level Execs to front-line users.
We’re looking for someone who is technically savvy and commercially
orientated. As well as sales, the Pre-Sales Engineer will also partner with
our Product team on improving our product offering based on insights from
working with customers.
The position is located in Burlington, MA.
Key Responsibilities Work with the sales team to present the Zappix solution during sales
processes
Interpret customer requirements into technical specifications and documents
Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that
explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and
prospects
Provide answers to client questions about our solutions, and other
technical aspects of the product
Successfully tailor demonstrations for customers’ needs and use cases
Research the industry on an on-going basis to know what changes may be on
the horizon that will impact current and future sales
Provide clear and accurate responses for RFPs and/or contribute technical
solutions directly to proposals
Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant
Prior experience in selling Contact Center solutions
– a major advantage
Proven track record supporting the sales of enterprise solutions
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an
easy-to-understand manner
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in
software development and web technologies
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of success
interacting with colleagues in cross-functional teams
Excellent presentation and creativity skills
Strong capability to work effectively both independently and as a team
player in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, start-up environment
Authorized to work in the US
