Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Pay $20-$26 HourlyOnsite in Grand Prairie, TXManufacturer in Grand Prairie, Texas, looking for a motivated team member with the ability to work alongside strong-willed individuals. We are a fast-paced company and not for the faint of heart.
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Duties:
Complete ownership of A/P workflow, champion internal controls, Purchase and receive document matching, enter vendor transactions, manage source documents, resolve vendor billing discrepancies, manage the overall flow of RTV and RGA transactions, secure vendor payment authorizations, and monthly reconciliation of all vendor accounts.
Shared ownership of A/R, including but not limited to, invoicing, customer monthly statement distribution, internal A/R reporting, lite collections, and processing payments.
Shared ownership and participation in periodic inventory control duties including physical counts, re-shelving inventory, and variance resolution. These duties will require some lifting, up to 50 pounds.
Willing participation in various other tasks, duties, and projects assigned.
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Skills: Proven and verifiable work experience as an accounts receivable and accounts payable clerk.
Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.
Computer literacy and strong typing skills, experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing edition, or like accounting package is required.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, accounting and bookkeeping procedures, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
The high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Outlook and Excel.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
Punctual.
Confident and detail-oriented.
Highly organized.
Self-motivated and determined.
Positive attitude willing to learn new things.
