Description
SUMMARY:
Seeking a multifaceted and skilled individual with a solid background IT systems and hardware. In this role
is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, networks, and infrastructure as well as
identifying areas for improvement and assisting the engineering team through means of improvement of
file systems and databases. They will possess a blend of technical expertise in IT support and building
security, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Good Communication skills: Listening, troubleshooting, teaching, interpersonal office relations.
2. Ability to work independently, have high standards, and consistently meet deadlines.
3. Provide IT support and training to employees both onsite and remotely.
4. IT support including but not limited to Network, Database and System Administration
5. Managing PC and hardware setup for new hires: Install, configure, upgrade computers, phones,
software and all peripherals
6. Troubleshooting and resolving IT related issues that may arise using excellent problem-solving skills
7. Troubleshoot system errors/failures, network interruptions and server outages
8. Adhere to a data backup and emergency disaster plans
9. Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and risks and how to identify problematic scenarios for
preventative maintenance practices Compensation dependent on knowledge and experience in the field
10. Be able to work in a multi-cultural and diverse environment and possess effective verbal and written
communication skills.
11. Coordinate with other JST facilities on a regular basis.
12. Conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner when interacting with affiliates and
suppliers.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate or higher degree, or equivalent 2-year work experiences, skills and/or certificate(s) in the
relevant field(s).
2. Experience in computer operations and solid Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
3. Experience with AD services, network, and configurations in multi-platform environments
4. Programming knowledge is a plus (we have several different databases with multi-languages).
