**Description**
The Kinesiology Program at Tulane University's School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) seeks qualified individuals for its *part-time* Adjunct Lecturer pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved will vary from semester to semester; openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis depending on department teaching needs. *SoPA courses may be taught at the Uptown campus, Elmwood campus, or online.*
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Health & Wellness and Exercise Science and graduate courses in Health & Wellness Management and Sport Studies. Specific courses include:
* KINE 2220: Mind and Body Health
* KINE 2230: Stress Management
* KINE 3120: Biomechanics
* KINE 3130: Lifespan Motor Development
* KINE 3650 Childhood Obesity
* KINE 4010: Catastrophic Illness & Injury
* KINE 4050: Mass Media and Health
* KINE 6450: Legal & Ethical Principles in Wellness Management
* KINE 7200: Health & Wellness Intervention Strategies
* KINE 6520: Fundraising and Capital Development (in Sport Studies)
* KINE 6340: Sports Nutrition
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of professional experience directly related to course offering
* University-level teaching experience is preferred
* Master's degree in Kinesiology required; doctorate is preferred for Masters level courses
