Speridian Technologies is currently recruiting for a Product and Platform Security Support team memberfor our State of California client. This person will be part of a state of the art, extremelyvast, IT modernizationproject with a variety of cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding security incident management and the process ofidentifying, managing, recording and analyzing security threats or incidents in real-time.
****This role is remote;however,teams may gather in California several times per year. Seeking candidates in Pacific Time Zones, Mountain Time Zones or Central Time Zones only.
Core Responsibilities: Respond and evaluate vulnerability and threats alerted produced by monitoring and scanning tools.
Perform manual scans, and security activities to ensure proper security is being published.
Help teams prioritize and provide recommendations on solutions and tools.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience in DevSecOps.
Experience performing analysis on security systems and events.
Experience running network, vulnerability, DAST and other types of security scans.
Experience understanding and writing highly technical documentation.
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to quickly triage incidents.
Experience with forensics analysis on events and issues.
