Title- Cloud Admin (AWS)
Work Location- Ft Worth, TX (Day 1 On-site)
Responsibilities:
Cloud Admin - 6 to 10 years experience
Deploy, configure, and manage AWS EC2 machines, storage, networking, and other cloud resources.
Building metrics and ,corresponding alarms using AWS Services, like Cloud watch to monitor the resource usage and patterns.
Build Cost usage reports.
Identify opportunities to improve resource usage optimization and security posture.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform or AWS Cloud formation templates.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes and streamline workflows.
Monitor AWS infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Implement and manage security measures to safeguard AWS resources and data.
Create and maintain documentation related to AWS architecture, configurations, and processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for their integration into existing infrastructure.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an AWS Administrator, including hands-on experience with AWS Console, AWS CLI, and PowerShell.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and their application in managing IAC code.
Knowledge of networking principles, including virtual networks, subnets, Security groups, NACLS, firewalls, and load balancers within AWS.
Experience with AWS monitoring and security tools, such as AWS Cloud watch, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Macie and AWS Security policies.
Experience in building different architecture patterns using AWS Services like Access management using IAM, Cognito , Application development using Serverless stack.
Scripting and automation skills using languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Understanding of DevOps practices and the ability to collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Relevant AWS certifications, such as Amazon Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
