**Description**
The Regional EHS Manager will be a key influencer of safety, environmental and health behaviors in the Luck Stone Business unit. They will work closely with all associates to advance the Environmental Health and Safety performance in order to achieve the corporate EHS objectives. They will assist associates in achieving a 100% knowingly compliant workplace.
Essential Functions:
* Lead and proactively promote integration of Value Safety.
* Lead and reinforce on-site MSHA and OSHA safety programs and behaviors.
* Manage Part 46 Training compliance program.
* Lead, organize, and follow up on MSHA/OSHA site safety inspection program.
* Conduct Near-Miss, Loss Control, and Injury Investigations.
* Assist Risk Manager with insurance reporting as needed.
* Lead management of on-site environmental program, compliance, and issues resolution.
* Lead and complete environmental audit and inspections.
* Complete permit applications and correspondence.
* Ensure SPCC implementation and documentation is complete.
* Assist Occupational Health Manager with HAZCOM program compliance.
* EMS implementation and documentation.
* Manage on-site training program; perform stand up training.
* Conduct IH sampling when required.
Qualifications:
* 5+ Years experience
* Knowledge of MSHA , Federal and State Environmental Laws and Regulations
* HS Diploma or equivalent, 4 year college degree preferred
* CSP or equivalent a plus
* Regional travel required between GA/SC/NC
