This is a unique opportunity to help us grow our Advisory services. This position will serve as a relationship manager with a strong financial acumen and ability to communicate investment and balance sheet strategies to the clientThis is a unique opportunity to help us grow our Loan Transaction Network. This position will work in our structured products group, analyzing ABS transactions and modeling one-off transactions.
The day-to-day duties of the position can be categorized as follows:
Work within a credit model to understand various outputs of cash flows and impact to the balance sheet
Present and discuss quantitative analyses to clients
Consult with clients on balance sheet strategies appropriate to their risk appetite and comply with policy architecture
Responsibilities:
The LTN Associate supports various LTN transactions and ensures these transactions are completed in a timely manner.
Analyze potential securitization structures to determine optimal use cases
Monitor and analyze historical transactions for performance and make recommendations as needed to clients
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing/sales strategy for our securitization and fintech opportunities
Prospecting and networking via telephone calls and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.
Develop securitization presentations for delivery to prospective clients
Utilize company resources as needed to secure commitments.
Once a transaction is underway, project manage and ensure the timely and successful completion of the transaction
Attend industry events and trade shows for the purpose of generating leads and closing sales
Stay informed on industry trends, changes in industry regulations and the competitive landscape
Work with management and product development team to refine existing products as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Possess analytical skills in an industry recognized credit modeling software
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be comfortable selling to financial institutions. PC/Windows-based software experience required with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Possess project management capabilities, and have the ability to close out projects successfully
Familiar with operational task designed to improve overall transaction efficiency.
Minimum Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in business related fields
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Must be able to effectively communicate.
