Assistant Professor, General Surgery- Knoxville

THIS IS A PART-TIME 70% POSITION IN KNOXVILLE, TN.
Non-tenure track academic appointment position commensurate with experience and level of academic interest. This position will be directly involved with the new AWR / hernia / MIS fellowship beginning in Fall 2024 and will be responsible for both didactic and hands on training of the general surgery residents and medical students.
Basic Qualifications:
Completion of Minimally Invasive Surgery or Hernia Specific AWR Fellowship
Board certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Tennessee Medical License
Departmental Preferences:
Established research related to the disease process of hernia and desire to continue research
Experience with open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques
