Job Description:
We're looking for a motivated highly efficient and organised event coordinator to join the global Marketing team. At Alter Domus new business is predominately generated and won by our Relationship Management team. A key part of their new business strategy is to engage with prospects and existing contacts at industry conferences. Across the year, we attend 112 conferences globally. In addition to our attendance, we sponsor a number of these conferences which involves creating and sending marketing collateral, banners and booths. Delivering these conferences to a high standard is very important and we need an event co-ordinator to take responsibility for the design, delivery and execution of the conference programme. This role sits within the Alter Domus Marketing team and reports to the Marketing & Content Manager for North America. To manage our global conference programme from end to end, the successful candidate will be required to do the following:
Engage with the regional sales leads to identify target conferences
Determine level of AD involvement for each event eg sponsor, speaker or delegate
Purchase sponsorship packages and tickets, whilst managing the global event budget
Liaise with the sales team and Relationship Management team to identify attendees
In collaboration with the sales team, design the client/colleague experience including:
Furniture
Marketing collateral
Give-aways
Client meetings
Create LinkedIn content promoting our attendance
Ship and track all materials
Engage with attendees re logistics
Arrange for the return of materials
Work with the content managers to create collateral/commentary about the event
Measure the success of the event
Manage the inventory of marketing collateral
Order and manage the stock of give-aways
Qualifications:
Motivated self-starter with great organisational skills
Good understanding and experience with MS office- particularly excel and outlook
A collaborative mindset, positive attitude and a keen interest in raising the bar
