RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage the monthly close process including preparation of GAAP financial statements* Prepare financial reporting package including metrics/KPIs* Assist with the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts* Monitor A/R, DSO, and assist with A/R collections* Follow GAAP guidelines for Revenue Recognition* Ensure Sales & Use Tax compliance with state and local laws and regulations* Present complete and accurate reports to business leaders with follow up and corresponding supporting details* Prepare reports, analyses, and insights needed for management decision making* Ad hoc reporting and development of various analyses* Develop and implement financial controls and policies & procedures* Proactively seek process improvement opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business with concentration in Accounting or Finance (18+ hours of accounting)* Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and financial experience including 2+ years in a managerial role* Solid experience with monthly close process, general ledger, and reporting* Experience with Work in Progress (WIP)* Experience with Sales & Use Tax* Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel proficiency required)* Strong system skills* Ability to communicate financial information effectively* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with positive, service-minded attitude
