Reporting to the Global Director of Strategic Partnerships, the Marketing Manager will be tasked with overseeing Themed Entertainment Association's (TEA) marketing and communications efforts. A passion for storytelling, experiential design or the themed entertainment industry is a plus.

HOW YOU'LL SERVE OUR ORGANIZATION:
Marketing and Communications
Implement Social Media Strategy created by Marketing Director
Identify segmentation areas and create a plan to reach each segment through different channels
Curate and manage weekly TEA Tell newsletter with support of full TEA staff team
Email & Social Media Campaigns for all TEA events (includes drafting emails and scheduling emails)
Create all TEA HQ Social Media Graphics and schedule them in Hootsuite
Manage TEA Global Communications Calendar
Manage & post digital content to member portal and TEA TV
Execute marketing campaigns to prospective and lapsed members in database (includes drafting emails and scheduling emails)
Develop and disseminate press releases using Cision
Sponsorship Fulfillment
Collect initial deliverables (logo, website, company description etc.) and track progress for Global Partners and Signature Event Sponsors
Ensure all sponsorship deliverables on-site are met with Global Partners and Event Sponsors
Support the Global Director of Strategic Partnerships in the development of annual sponsor accountability reports
Design event sponsorship and global partner prospectuses & other solicitation resources
Content Managemen t
Primary oversight of website and provide training to other staff on the website, as needed, and manage all website updates
Support the Director of Operations in the development and implementation of a content management strategy that will move TEA's most valuable education content to be accessible for members only
Work with TEA's Membership Manager to evaluate and recommend additional TEA membership Directory enhancements
Manage additional web developer resources as needed
WHAT WE ASK FOR:
Bachelor's degree required
5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications
Strong project management competency with demonstrable track record of success
Must be flexible, solutions-oriented, organized and responsive to requests and deadlines
Experience executing marketing campaigns
Advanced proficiency in MS Office software, Smartsheet, Canva and Adobe Photoshop
Periodic domestic and international travel to key association meetings or industry events (5%)
Core Office Hours 8:30 - 5:00 pm Central time. Due to the needs of TEA's global membership, participation in occasional early morning or evening calls will be necessary from time to time. As such, TEA accommodates flexible scheduling on an ad hoc basis to accommodate both the employee and the needs of the business
Position is a remote role
Willingness to pitch in and wear many hats in a lean organization
