Opportunity:
eCommission is in the process of establishing a dedicated business division with a primary focus on FinTech products. This role will have the opportunity to create and develop new leading technology for the company. These products will be for web and mobile, with freedom to create across the full product cycle.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust, user-friendly applications using React Native, Typescript, and other technologies.
Design, implement, and maintain backend services and databases on AWS Infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross functional teams and other developers to define project requirements and deliverables.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the development process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in React Native for mobile application development.
Strong knowledge of Typescript.
Experience with AWS Infrastructure.
Experience with Node.js, Python, and MongoDB is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience leading/mentoring engineering teams
Additional Information:
This position is Hybrid. In-office hours are required Monday - Thursday. Must have sufficient internet connection to sustain a full workday of internet use, i.e., data input, dialing the phone, video conferencing. The selected candidate must also have a home office location free from distractions that will provide the ability to ensure confidentiality of work product.
