LOCATION: Remote; candidates local to Farifax, VA may be asked to come onsite occasionally to support large branding/event initiatives

The Marketing Director creates, develops, and executes marketing strategies to promote ITC Federal. The position supports marketing, branding, and working with key stakeholders to establish visibility, awareness, and positioning of ITC's solutions, services, and products designed for the government sector. Activities include, but are not limited to, the following: creating compelling campaigns, engaging with target audiences, creating leads, supporting targeted growth opportunities, and ensuring ITC's brand presence is strong and impactful.
Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities
Directs, develops, implements, and facilitates marketing strategies, activities, and policies for ITC Federal. Performs market research to stay abreast of industry trends, ITC customer strategies, preferences, objectives, and competitors.
Develops and manages the marketing budget for ITC.
Organizes and coordinates support for upcoming events and conferences, including the day of deliveries, and provides any marketing support as assigned.
Coordinates with teams and vendors in preparation for ITC conferences, trade shows, and major events critical to ITC service lines and growth needs.
Research and recommend marketing strategies to support current and future growth requirements.
Develop and manage advertising campaigns.
Work with the Chief Growth Officer and Chief Strategy Officer on industry analysis and trends.
Engage in competitor research and analytics around sales, lead generation, and SEO channels.
In coordination with the CHRO, promotes and expands internal branding for employee communication platforms.
Create best practices and draft company policies to ensure control over company brands and logos for all company departments.
Collaborate with Recruiting to refine and implement innovative branding strategies, driving increased visability and appeal to prospective candidates.
Branding Responsibilities
Works with Strategy and Growth to execute a brand strategy in alignment with ITC goals and objectives.
Works with the Growth team to refine unique value propositions for upcoming opportunities, keeping key stakeholders and target audiences in mind and focusing on ITC's key differentiators in the marketplace.
Develop and maintain the visual look and feel of the brand for ITC Corporate HQs and departments, including logos, color schemes, messaging, especially marketing collateral, social media sites, and websites.
Create marketing campaigns as assigned based on service areas and upcoming opportunities to drive brand message, awareness, and engagement with target audiences.
Monitor and manage brand equity, tracking brand health metrics and implementing strategies to enhance brand perception and loyalty throughout the marketplace.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of branding initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
In coordination and collaboration with HR & Recruiting provide guidance and monitor all company swag purchases to ensure brand consistency and promotion.
Media Responsibilities
Maintain and expand current marketing library and knowledge repository, including articles, photos, and video library, to track ITC's story and history.
In coordination with the CEO, responds to press inquiries on behalf of the company. Provide guidance to the organization on press interactions and processes.
Responsible for building and developing marketing-related content for the ITC brand.
Cultivate and strengthen ITC's media presence nationally and locally, including participation in annual awards ceremonies within the GovCon and technology community.
Coordinates media requests for interviews, as needed, for ITC staff.
Prepare, develop, create, and maintain content for ITC's website, including press releases, case studies, social media announcements, blogs, articles, and other content.
Update and maintain social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram), including the look and feel of the pages, images, and content representing the ITC brand.
Qualifications
8-10+ years of experience supporting brand and marketing development for companies
Experience in the GovCon industry
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or a related field
Proficient in using MS Office 365, WordPress, and Adobe products, including PDF, Creative/Express, Stock Photos, and Illustrator
Experience with Social Weaver and/or other social content platforms and emerging technologies, including using AI tools such as ChatGPT, as well as technologies for SEO Marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and exceptional time management skills
Ability to facilitate and lead groups to meet project and writing internal and external deadlines
Extensive experience working with teams to prepare for vendor and technical conferences, including coordination, logistics, and preparing marketing materials
Capable of working with a diverse set of audiences
Works well under pressure, able to meet multiple deadlines, and be highly flexible
Desired Skills/Experience
Self-starter with little oversight, able to multi-task and be highly organized
Passion for IT services, branding, and telling stories across audiences
