Department Information

Georgia Tech Professional Education's Academic Programs team serves over 10,000 online students who are working professionals all over the world. We work with learners from prospects to alumni in 16 online credit programs, which necessitates a robust communications plan to meet our learners where they are in their academic journey. We use Salesforce and MarketingCloud for all communication including (but not limited to) recruitment, admissions, onboarding, advisement, student services and student engagement.

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily operations of the colleges website and electronic communication including design, structure, and content presentation. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff, faculty, outside vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise: NA

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -

Manage the website, social media, and electronic communication.

Job Duty 2 -

Assist in the development of e-newsletter, e-magazine, electronic notifications.

Job Duty 3 -

Develop, implement, track and evaluate digital communications and provide monthly reports that include website traffic data, social media data, and SEO analysis.

Job Duty 4 -

Assist with long-term development of digital communications activities and projects.

Job Duty 5 -

Handle video/photography including editing.

Job Duty 6 -

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

Three to four years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience in email marketing/digital design with a marketing automation system required

Enterprise level experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Salesforce Marketing Cloud email certification preferred)

Experience building Data Extensions, Automation, Journeys and configuring Distributed Marketing

Experience in website maintenance and updates

2-3 years of experience in Professional Writing; may request for writing samples

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS

This job requires advanced computer and social media skills. Broad experience with content management systems is required.
