Our Silicon IP business is all about integrating more capabilities into an SoC—faster. We offer the world’s broadest portfolio of silicon IP—predesigned blocks of logic, memory, interfaces, analog, security, and embedded processors. All to help customers integrate more capabilities while meeting unique performance, power, and size requirements of their target applications and to get differentiated products to market quickly with reduced risk.

We’re looking for an IP sales specialist to join the team. Work collaboratively in a team environment with senior IP sales professionals, and with executive account management, corporate and field applications engineers, product marketing managers, contracts administration, and finance staff to meet and exceed established sales objectives.

Coordinate the preparation of written proposals, and work with internal organizations including business units, legal, finance, and order processing for the purpose of closing business. Responsible for developing complex technical sales plans, which may involve competitive displacements, or creative business agreements to meet or exceed pre-established quotas.

Supports the assigned field team to drive IP selling strategies and to support an understanding of the customer’s challenges and needs about IP requirements. Evaluates customer requirements, assess Synopsys IP portfolio and roadmap, develops a proposal, and closes business with the customer while applying creative ideas to meet their business and technical objectives.

Key Qualifications: Requires a good understanding of IC design methods and IP building blocks such as interface IP, foundation IP, and embedded processors.

Strong communication skills , and the ability to interact with engineering at all levels.

Ability to grasp complex technical data and to communicate to a broad range of technical and non-technical people.

Uses professional concepts to solve a wide-range of difficult problems in imaginative and creative ways. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.

Preferred Experience: BSEE/CS with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IC related design and/or selling activities

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $146,000-$220,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
