Inside Sales/Customer Service Professional

TrinityRail is hiring an Inside Sales/Customer Service Professional in our Fort Worth, TX location!
This person interacts with customers providing the highest level of customer service by receiving requests for railcar parts, gathering appropriate information, and providing quotes.
What you'll do: Receives initial contact from customer requesting railcar parts for specific leased cars built by Trinity
Gathers appropriate data to begin research to quote customer
Prepares proposals and quotes for customers from established pricing and lead time
Coordinates order entry into automated data handling system
Receives customer inquiries concerning shipment problems, order changes, invoice variations, etc.
Resolves issues by coordinating with company personnel; responds to customers and implements corrective action as needed
Generates paperwork concerning customer orders, shipments, etc.
Assures that research projects are properly archived and indexed to support future research activities
Reads schematic drawings and problem-solves to determine correct part(s) to quote with accuracy
Qualifications
What you'll need: Bachelor's degree preferred with two years of related sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related sales experience which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of sales and marketing practices, techniques and administration
Knowledge of division products, or the ability to acquire it rapidly
Ability to maintain accurate, complete records
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and company personnel
Knowledge of automated data handling systems from a user's perspective
Prior experience using LX/IBM is preferred
